Riott Squad def Bayley & Sasha

It’s been a while since Sasha Banks & Bayley had anything worth squabbling over — they’re undefeated since their cards-on-the-table confab a couple of weeks back — but a surprise intrusion during their rematch with The Riott Squad led to a defeat that provided the former champions with the first misstep of their freshly-renewed friendship.

The surprise, in this case, was the return of Ruby Riott.  After weeks on the injured list, Riott made her presence known soon after Banks had entered the contest to save Bayley from an extended isolation and give “The Boss ‘N’ Hug Connection” their biggest advantage of the match. When Bayley threw Liv Morgan to the outside, Riott — disguised in a black hoodie — pulled Liv out of danger and revealed herself in dramatic fashion, distracting The Boss and leaving her vulnerable to a roll-up from Sarah Logan for the 1-2-3. Judging by Bayley and Sasha’s reaction, the loss did little to test their friendship. That said, the fully reunited Riott Squad may prove a serious challenge of their mettle.

Ruby Riott def Sasha Banks

Last week, Ruby Riott threw a wrench into the Raw Women’s division when she returned and cost The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection a match against The Riott Squad. It looks like she’s just getting started.

Ruby made her in-ring return in a singles match against Sasha Banks this week, and she wasted no time getting back to her ruthless bona fides, trapping The Boss’ hand in the steel steps and blasting it with a kick. Having one working hand didn’t stop The Boss from putting up a fight, but it did stop her from effectively applying the Bank Statement — not that Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan were taking any chances on that front.

The rest of The Riott Squad attempted to interfere, which led to Sasha taking both of them out with a suicide dive and Bayley providing the assist at ringside. Unfortunately, Sasha was still banged up and was therefore easy pickings for a roll-up from Ruby as she attempted to re-enter the ring.

Riott Squad def. Bayley, Sasha & Ember

Despite adding Ember Moon to their ranks, the team of Sasha Banks & Bayley came up short for the third consecutive week against The Riott Squad, though The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection remains strong in the wake of the disappointment.

In an often wild match, Bayley found herself isolated by The Riott Squad until she tagged in Sasha, bringing the bout down to The Boss and Ruby Riott. As interferences began to mount, Ember took herself out of the action when she blasted Liv Morgan with a suicide dive, and Bayley found herself waylaid by Sarah Logan at ringside. As the now solitary Sasha ascended to the top turnbuckle, Ruby targeted Banks’ taped-up hand to knock her off her perch and finished her off moments after with a pinpoint Riott Kick.

Bayley & the rest of the Raw Womens division stood ringside during a celebration for Ronda Rousey winning the Raw Women's Championship. Ronda Rousey gave credit to Bayley & Sasha Banks for their part in the women's evolution.

Sasha Banks def. Dana Brooke

Bayley was ringside to support Sasha in her match against Dana Brooke.

After picking up a victory, Bayley & Sasha Banks were asked backstage on their opinion about their fellow four horsewomen members fall out at SummerSlam. Sasha made it clear she was Team Becky, and Bayley said she wasn't picking sides but she doesn't blame Becky at all. They both saw it coming.
