Sasha, Ember & Alexa vs Riott Squad

After a disappointing early elimination from the Last Chance Gauntlet Match that would have sent her to WWE Money in the Bank, Bayley got a much-needed win in a Six-Woman Tag Team Match over The Riott Squad. Too bad Baron Corbin ended up getting it thrown out.
In fairness, The Lone Wolf had some grounds to contest in his capacity as Raw's new, Stephanie McMahon-appointed Constable. The match in question had originally paired The Riott Squad against the unlikely trio of Sasha Banks, Ember Moon and Alexa Bliss — all of whom are Money in the Bank-bound — though Bliss left the match with an apparent hamstring injury. Bayley hit the scene later in the bout, evening the odds and pinning Sarah Logan almost immediately with an emphatic Bayley-to-Belly.
Unfortunately for her, Corbin was watching, and he went straight to Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to protest the result on the grounds that he was acting as Stephanie's “eyes and ears.” (He sought the referee out for a few choice words as well.) Rather than risk a confrontation with Stephanie, Angle was forced to overturn the decision and hand the win to The Riott Sqaud, spoiling both a big moment for Bayley and what was shaping to be a long-awaited reconciliation between her and Banks

Ruby Riott def. Bayley

Bayley was set to face the leader of the Riott Squad and try to seek some revenge after the Riott Squad teamed up and caused her early elimination from the Gauntlet match two weeks prior.
Riott was clearly feeling confident as the match approached — she, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan caused all sorts of petty chaos backstage on their way to the ring — and made a point of targeting The Huggable One’s shoulder. Her swagger didn’t falter even as the veteran Bayley battled back against her upstart foe, but it was The Riott Squad's timely distraction that proved to be the difference-maker. Once Bayley was otherwise occuped, Riott pounced, ramming Bayley shoulder-first into the ring post before dropping her with the Riott Kick. Adding insult to injury, The Riott Squad scrawled an “R” on Bayley’s stomach in black lipstick. Leaving their mark on a championship-caliber opponent.

Riott Squad def. Sasha Banks & Bayley

During the lead-in to the Women’s Money in the Bank Match, Sasha Banks and Bayley's relationship seemed to finally be pushing through months of turbulence. And then, Raw happened.
Before the match Bayley spoke to Sasha backstage asking if they can have a fresh start to their freindship. The Boss & Hug Connection appeared to be back for a brief moment.

The Boss and The Huggable One didn’t just lose against The Riott Squad’s Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan in a match that seemed like it would finally seal their newly re-formed friendship, they never quite managed to get on the same page. After Liv capitalized on Logan’s interference to pin Sasha with a handful of tights, Banks shoved Bayley to the mat in frustration.
And when The Huggable One tried to catch up with Sasha backstage, The Boss spurned her again, leading to a brief but intense brawl between the two former Raw Women’s Champions. Bayley tried to get ahold of Banks again as she made her way out of the arena, but The Boss wasn't hearing it. All The Huggable One could do was throw a water bottle at her friend's car as it sped away.

Riott Squad def. Sasha, Bayley & Ember

Last week, Sasha Banks & Bayley's friendship deteriorated to the point of thrown fists (and one chucked water bottle), but Raw General Manager Kurt Angle won’t give up so easily.
After welcoming back Alicia Fox, Kurt Angle asked to speak to Bayley. Citing the two champions’ importance to the Raw brand, The Olympic Hero gave them one final chance to get on the same page, sanctioning a Six-Woman Tag Team Match between Sasha, Bayley & Ember Moon against The Riott Squad.
Angle’s gambit failed to pay dividends in more ways than one: Flashes of teamwork aside, Sasha and Bayley were barely tolerating each other from the jump, and after The Boss was pinned by Ruby Riott to close the match, Bayley pounced all over Sasha and pummeled her ruthlessly about the ring, refusing to let up until after she’d thrown Banks into the steel steps not once, but twice. The outcome was so savage, in fact, that Angle immediately handed ultimatums to both Bayley and Banks after the match: Each woman must attend mandatory counselling next week, or lose her job.
